Summary
The Penetrator Missile is a Missile unlocked for the Missile Launcher/Multi Missile Launcher after the player researches Penetrator in the Laboratory. The Penetrator Missile deals massive amounts of Direct Hull Damage, allowing it to destroy entire ships by itself.
Like all Missiles, the Penetrator Missile bypasses shields and can be dodged by ships that have a powered Engine onboard. The Penetrator Missile can be upgraded by continuing to research Penetrator in the Laboratory.

Penetrator Spam [Win Condition][Early-End Game]

- Advantages: Doesn't require any other weapon rooms, can mess up enemy AI and is unaffected by shields.
- Disadvantages: Hard to pull off without 20-25 Crew, and Engines can be a hassle to destroy.
- Additional Notes: Usually, this combo is paired with the Teleport so the player can destroy rooms like the Engine. In addition, make sure the Penetrator Missiles target sparsely Armored rooms to maximize damage.
3X Penetrator Spam [Win Condition]

- Advantages: Doesn't require any other weapon rooms, can mess up enemy AI and is unaffected by shields.
- Disadvantages: Hard to pull off without 23-25 Crew, and Engines can be a hassle to destroy.
- Additional Notes: It's basically an upgraded version of the normal Penetrator Spam combo.
When To Use
The Penetrator Missile is a win condition (Meaning it only affects the enemy's HP, which must be 0 to win) and thus, can't be swapped in as easily as other Missiles could. However, here are some general tips for success when running the Penetrator Missile. Crew manning the Missile rooms should have a high weapon stat, plenty of defender Crew should be positioned to kill enemy boarders, and the ship using the combo must have the ability to withstand lots of damage from the enemy.
AI
The AI equip command for the Penetrator Missile is relatively straightforward. Once the below AI equip command is in the Missile Launcher/Multi Missile Launcher, it will automatically equip the Penetrator Missile during combat.
