Summary
The Interceptor Craft is the first Craft unlocked when the Hangar/Starport is built. The Interceptor Craft flies toward the enemy ship when launched during combat. The Interceptor Craft deals a small amount of damage but makes up for it with a fast reload time. The Interceptor Craft can be upgraded by researching Interceptor in the Laboratory.
Usage
Craft Combos
Interceptor Spam [DPS][Early Game]
The Interceptor Spam combo is one of the earliest combos players can use. Its low cost and research requirement makes it friendly for lower level players. The best rooms to target with this combo are the Anti Craft Laser and Shield Generator. When paired with other weapon rooms and 3-4 other Interceptors, this combo can deal massive DPS in a short amount of time.
When To Use
The Interceptor Craft is usually used exclusively in the early game. This is because the Defender Craft is much better than the Interceptor Craft in DPS and HP. However, until the player unlocks the Defender Craft, the Interceptor Craft should be used as the player's main damage dealing Craft.
AI
The AI equip command for the Interceptor Craft is pretty complicated. This is because the Interceptor Craft doesn't have any unique traits. Thus, some of the below AI commands might not work when other built Craft in inventory have higher stats in any of the categories.
