Basic Gameplay

Pixel Starships is an online Starship management game - which means Star Captn's can choose to play however they so wish. You can choose to climb the ladder, fight and rid the world of scary aliens or follow the story missions to discover the happenings of the universe.

Feeling lost after the tutorial with our Tutorial Girl? Look around the game interface and get familiar with each element of the game. The best way to learn how 2 play is to play and experiment with the game. A starting point can be engaging in simple Missions where the goal is to defeat the enemy starship. From there you will gain experience for the Crew members and resources to invest into research and upgrading the Starship! 

Instructions for basic battle sequence 101

1. Tap Mission

2. Tap the Green mission

3. Read the situation

4. Attack!

5. Drag and point the target (the diamond icons located on the bottom) of each of your weapons to the REA (Reactor room that supplies energy to your weapons and ship) room, once this room is defeated it means that enemies may no longer use their weapons to target you.

6. Remember to check on your own ship - if your REA rooms are out of commission, simply drag a free crew member to tend to the room and fix it so that you are able to fire lazer beams once again.

7. When your weapons are fixed up, you'll have to remember to charge up (drag the side rectangular bars next to the weapon icon up) the weapons again so that they're able to be activated.

8. The goal is to strip the enemy of their HP. If the Alien ship has a shield, some weapons might not be able to bypass the shield so the shield will have to be defeated first.

9. VICTORY!!! (Or defeat....)

10. Collect your rewards and see if Crew members can be levelled up, and if your ship can be upgraded!

11. Give the other missions a try and continue on your intergalactic journey!
