Fleets are like a faction or group, and can be used for many things in Pixel Starships. You can donate your crew members to a fleet or borrow crew from other fleet members, and access the fleet chat.
To join a Fleet, you'll need to purchase the Fleet Council room, unlocked in the Shop when you upgrade to a level 4 ship. You and your fleet can battle in competitions and fight to be the best. With each win, you'll receive trophies and whoever has the most trophies at the end wins!

Limits
Fleets are limited to 100 members, so be sure to choose your members wisely.

Starbase
The Starbase can be built spending 1.000.000 Minerals and Gas(or Space Bux).
By now the main advance of a Starbase is, that it will support the fleemembers by defnding their Ships while they are offline. Therefore the longrange weapon has to be built and installed, causing hull damage to the attacking ship. Rooms, their upgrades, ammo, research and baseupgrades can be purchased spendig supplies or bux. Supplies are not devided in Minerals and Gas. Supplies can be donated via gas- and mineralcrates or by Fleetmembers raiding enemy Bases. Each member can raid a base once a day and a base can be raided every 8 hours.
AI is available if researched. Donated crew can be placed in the Station als known fromm the ships.
