Summary
The Warehouse provides additional Storage Space for items on your starship. Don't confuse this with Resources, this is just items in general like equipment. This is helpful for people who have not researched gBay yet, but it's pretty useless after that with rooms like the Workshop around. Instead of wasting 6 tiles, you can overprice your items in Gbay so no one buys them, and then get free space as they sit in your Inbox.
