Summary

The EMP Missile is a Missile unlocked for the Missile Launcher/Multi Missile Launcher after the player researches EMP Technology in the Laboratory. The EMP Missile delivers an EMP Stun to the room it hits.

Like all Missiles, the EMP Missile bypasses shields and can be dodged by ships that have a powered Engine onboard. The EMP Missile can be upgraded by continuing to research EMP Technology in the Laboratory.

Room Disable Mk2 [Support][Mid-End Game] EMP6 + EMP6 + EMP6


  • Advantages: Can disable Landmines, Sprinklers, and rooms for nearly the entire game.
  • Disadvantages: Doesn't provide any damage output and has a rather large Research requirement.
  • Additional Notes: Requires a Multi Missile Launcher.



Stun and Burn [Support][Mid-End Game] EMP6 + Scarlet6 + (EMP6 / Scarlet6)


  • Advantages: The EMP Missile can disable Sprinklers, allowing the Scarlet Missile to deal much more damage. The EMP Missile can also be used separately to disable other rooms.
  • Disadvantages: Hard to implement AI wise.


When To Use

The EMP Missile is a great Missile to use if the player already has sufficient DPS from other weapon rooms. This is especially the case for higher level EMP Missiles. The EMP stun at the later levels lasts so long, by the time it's over the Missile Launcher/MML (With Weapon Crew) would've already reloaded and fired another EMP Missile to hit the room, permanently stunning it.

AI

The AI equip command for the EMP Missile is relatively straightforward. Once the below AI equip command is in the Missile Launcher/Multi Missile Launcher, it will automatically equip the EMP Missile during combat.
